My name is Maxamilian Demian, and I'm just another guy who loves the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. I began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2003 and earned my black belt in 2015. I've trained in Muay Thai, boxing, Judo and wrestling, but BJJ is my life. Along my journey I've gone from student to fighter, fighter to coach, and coach to referee. I currently coach at Subfighter MMA/Affliction in Seal Beach; and I am a Herb Dean certified MMA referee/judge.
Since I'm also a professional software developer, I've decided to combine my two passions by documenting my journey on JiuJitsuLife.net. I started this blog in 2015 mostly as a personal historical record of my martial arts life after realizing that I didn't have a lot of pictures from my first 13 years of training. So whether i'm attending a local tournament, refereeing an MMA event, or checking out a new gym; this is a look into my Jiu Jitsu life.
