Saturday, August 22, 2015. Another night of fights by Knockout Promotions and back on the winning track. We were supposed to have 4 guys fighting, but ended up with 3 due to illness. Long Tran and Henry Campanur were both making their amateur debuts, while Gabriel Green was trying to increase his record to 4-0 and fighting for the promotion’s Welterweight title.

Long won his fight via unanimous decision. If I recall correctly, it was 30-27 on all 3 judges score. He dominated the first 2 rounds and a majority of the 3rd round with his grappling (although the opponent finished off the 3rd round stronger).

After a back-and-forth first round with a lot of swinging on the feet and wrestling, Henry won via armbar near the end of the round. After his opponent caught him with a successful takedown attempt, and Henry immediately started working a triangle setup that led to the armbar when his opponent attempt to pull out of the triangle.

As far are Gabe goes, I will save his details for another blog post since I took so many pictures xP
