So I’ve been slacking on updating the blog a bit, but not without reason! Last Sunday (Dec 11, 2016) we had our team competing in the Russ Miura Subfighter (sister-school) Holiday Nogi Challenge. We had ~18 people competing, and with only myself and Tracy coaching, there wasn’t much time for pictures.

But the very next Tuesday, we had Chris Brennan in town for a seminar at our school. Chris Brennan is the man that gave a black belt to the man that gave me a black belt. Definitely one of the better seminars that I have been to considering that after 14 years, there’s not a whole lot of things that I see and think, “wow, this changes the game” anymore. I picked up a few techniques that I plan on spending the next few months getting down pat into my game (and maybe you’ll see them in a future video)!
