Back from another night of CXF fights at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, CA. We had 3 fighters on the card this time &emdash; Selah Williams, Marc Alvidrez making his pro debut and Josh Jones fighting for the 4th time in CXF.

Selah was fight #2 on the card. He took the fight with one week notice as a late replacement. Not much to say about this fight. Selah was caught early and lost by TKO around a minute into the first round.

Fight #4 was Marc. His fight was an absolute war. The first round was a stand up battle with Marc's opponent likely taking the round. The second round started similar until Marc got a takedown and spent the rest of the round on top of his opponent &emdash; passing the guard multiple times and mounting &emdash; taking that round. In the 3rd round, Marc ran out of gas a few minutes in and the ref stopped the fight on the feet. Even with a loss, Marc definitely left it all in the cage that fight.

Last fighter up was Josh Jones. He fought #8 and was the second-to-last fight on the card. Josh had another absolutely dominating performance. Landing punches and kicks for the first half-minute to a minute, he then landed a big overhead slam leading to some ground & pound. After Josh's opponent works his way to his feet, Josh landed another big slam to put him back on the mat. Josh immediately took his opponent's back and started working for his patented face crank/rear naked choke that he lands on everybody in the gym. A few moments later and Josh's opponent is tapping out and we are ending the night on a good note! After the fight, Josh called out for a lightweight title fight now that he is 4-0 with 4 finishes in the promotion and later found out that's exactly what his next fight is going to be!
