About to head back home from another weekend of fights in Laughlin. We’ve been taking guys to fight in this show for almost a decade now (my last fight was in March 2008 in this same show). We had hoped to have more guys fighting on the card, but only found match ups for Mario Delgado at middleweight and Fabian at Roa heavyweight.

Mario won by doctor stoppage after the first round. He dropped his opponent with a 4-punch combo right off the bat and landed a few dozen more shots on the ground. His opponent was tough and managed to get back to his feet and keep fighting, but the doctor had to stop it after seeing what looked like a broken orbital.

Fabian ended up losing a decision to a tough, undefeated opponent. Unfortunately Fabian played his opponent’s game instead of fighting his fight and showing how good he really is. But that’s what we bring fighters to Laughlin for. To get that experience in a smaller show and improve the mental game of our fighters through that experience before fighting tougher opponents.
