Shots from Angel’s fight in Combate Americas in Los Angeles. The venue (Exchange LA) had an amazing feel with 2 levels and no bad seats. The fights were also streamed on UFC Fight Pass which was a nice bonus. We had Angel Oliveras fighting at 125 and unfortunately he did not come away with a win this time. After trading a few times in the first round, Angel let his emotions get the better of him and fought angry instead of sticking to the gameplan. It made for an exciting and entertaining 15 minutes of fighting, but when it came down to the judges scorecards, it didn’t work out in his favor. Angel came out of the fight not too banged up and was already looking for his next fight. Just gotta fix some holes and make sure he is ready for the next one.
