Back at Commerce Casino again a week later. This time it's for Pro-Am Up Next Fighting 2 on August 20, 2022. I will be inspecting the amateur portion and afterwards we have Albert Lee fighting on the pro card.

Had Josh Jones & Albert Lee fighting on the Cage Warriors 133 card in San Diego on Friday night.

Back fro the Subfighter Men's No Gi Classic Advanced Sub-Only tournament. We had 3 guys competing.

Josh Vogelsang took 2nd place @ 185lbs to Joshua Squires from our sister Subfighter gym in the real April 2021 battle of the Josh's.

Albert Lee took 3rd place @ 195lbs even though he should be competing at 170 .

Ivan Coache has only been back training for less than a month but still wanted to compete. He didn't medal, but this was just a step towards getting back in shape to step in the cage again.

Today was Noah Tillis' SoCal Jiu Jitsu Championship at Schurr High School in Montebello California.

We had 15 people competing across all of the divisions — 5 of them in their very first grappling tournament.

8 golds, 2 silvers and a bronze. 15 competitors, 11 medals. We would obviously love 15 medals, but it was a pretty good outing for Team Subfighter.
